Prevent Data Loss

It is always said  PREVENTION IS BETTER THAN CURE.
THIS ALL WHAT  YOU SHOULD  DO TO PREVENT  LOSS OF  YOUR  PRECIOUS DATA

  •      Save  data on partition other than the partition containing operating system
  •     Backup
  •     Use an anti-virus software and keep it updated
  •          Practice disk maintenance

Save  data on partition other than the partition containing operating system.
One  should always  save important data on partition other than operating  system  drive as always  when  operating system crashes  there are  great chances  that  data will be lost during installing  OS  (many have already faced  problem , file was saved on desktop etc and  OS crashed , too much hectic if  it happens in laptop)

BACKUP
TAKING BACKUP IS THE  BEST UNBEATABLE OPTION
Backup simply means you are keeping at least one copy of the original data, but in the other  disk.( do not delete original files ). Always remember  to give short file names. Long file names  creates problems  during copying

USE AN ANTI VIRUS SOFTWARE AND KEEP IT UPDATED

Anti-virus software  protect your computer against  computer viruses, trojan and other malicious-ware. Some virus infections can delete, modify your data  causing your computer restart or OS booth failure. Most viruses nowadays spread through internet and it is a real must to have a secure Anti-Virus software.
Anti-virus software update is necessary as it contains information about new viruses for removing the same.

PRACTICE DISK MAINTENANCE

Perform disk defragmentation once every few months. In Defragmentation , data is arranged more contiguously for fast access and  is also helpful for recovery if needed
