How to Type Small Numbers on Keyboard (MAC)
In this article, you see how to type small numbers on Keyboard on Macbook Air or Macbook Pro. Small numbers are used to write chemical formulas in a chemical reaction. Little numbers are also used in mathematical equations. In Microsoft word, there are several ways to type subscript numbers or words next to a word or a number.
Following are the steps
Method 1
- Type the number you wish to make subscript eg. if you want to write H2O or CO2 in Word document. First type H2O or CO2
- Press shift on the keyboard and select number 2
- Click on Subscript option in MS word or use the keyboard shortcut Control + Command + Minus (CTRL + CMD + -)
- Go to the Insert tab
- On the right-hand side click on "Equation"
- Under the "Design" tab, click on "Script" and select Subscript
- Enter the number in the subscript box
