How To Split Text Into Two Columns In Word
In this article, you will know how to split text into two columns in Word document. If you are writing a research paper or preparing a poster, this method will be very useful for you. While there is a simple method to get two columns in Microsoft Word I won't recommend the first simple one shown below. instead, I will suggest you, use the second method and watch the video.
Following are the methods
Method 1
1. Open the Word Document and select the text you want to split into two columns
2. Clik on the "Page Layout" tab
3. Under the "Page Layout" tab click on "Columns" and Click "Two" this will split the page into two
columns
Method 2
1. Open the Word Document
2. Go to the "Insert" Tab => Table and select the 2 X 2 table
3. Now copy-paste the text inside the columns
4. To remove the Outer Border of the Table, Right Click on the Table Border and Click "Format shapes"
5. Now Under the "Line" option select the "No" line to remove the table outer border
