The reasons behind this are portability, easy to use and the most important fast copying of data files by the USB compared to the old methods. Since USB flash drives have high data transfer speed, the installation time is significantly reduced when Windows 10 is installed from bootable USB flash drive.

Method 1: How to make Windows 10 ISO bootable USB using Windows USB/DVD download tool

  1. To create windows 10 bootable USB first off all Download Windows 10 iso 
  2. You need to to have Windows USB loader (windows 10 iso to USB tool) called Windows USB/DVD Download Tool from Microsoft. 
  3. Download this Windows 10 USB loader tool and finish installation, Run it
  4. Click on Browse and locate Windows 10 ISO file and click OK
  5. Click on Next
  6. Verify USB drive 
  7. Click on "USE device" and then "Begin copying" 
  8. If the popup is displayed click Erase USB device
  9. After copying all the files safely remove the created USB

Method 2: How to make Windows 10 ISO bootable USB (Rufus) 

Rufus is a tiny software and is very useful Windows USB loader to make windows 10 bootable USB from ISO. Rufus creators claim that Rufus is two times faster than Windows USB/DVD Download Tool.
If for some reason you get an error while creating bootable USB like, "The selected file is not a valid ISO file. Please select a valid ISO file and try again" or "We were unable to copy your files. Please check your USB device and the selected ISO file and try again" Use Rufus to resolve this error.
Follow the following steps create windows 10 bootable USB with Rufus
  1. Download and Launch Rufus 
  2. After the launch of Rufus on the screen, plug in the USB flash drive
  3. Locate and select Windows 10 iso and click OK
  4. Now click on Start to create the bootable USB flash drive
Now the USB flash drive is a bootable USB flash drive. Just plug it in and install windows 10.

Method 3: How to make Windows 10 ISO bootable USB without Using any software (using command prompt)

To create windows 10 bootable USB installation media, Plug in the USB flash drive into the USB port
  1. Search command prompt in the Windows 10 taskbar and Run as administrator
  2. Type diskpart and hit enter
  3. In the diskpart window type list disk and enter to see all active disks on the computer (Disk 0 is hard drive, disk 1 is for USB flash drive with its total capacity)
  4. Type select disk 1 in and hit enter you will see a message "Disk 1 is now the selected disk"
  5. Type clean and hit enter to format all the data from USB after this command you will see a message "Diskpart succeeded in cleaning the disk"
  6. Type create partition primary and hit enter. After the action is completed you will see a message Diskpart succeeded in creating the specified partition.
  7. Type select partition 1 and hit enter to choose partition 1 as the active partition
  8. Type active and hit enter to activate the current partition
  9. Type format fs=ntfs quick and hit enter to format the current partition as NTFS file system
  10. Type exit and hit enter to close the Diskpart utility but don't close the command prompt windows
  11. Now copy all files from a Windows 10 ISO image files to USB flash drive manually to make USB drive bootable.
