In this article, you will learn an easy method on how to put margin in Google Docs. You may want to set 1 inch or 1.5 inch margin if you are writing a report thesis or an article on a computer or a laptop. You can use the page setup option to set page margins. To change margins in google docs follow the method shown below 

1. Open Google Docs 

2. Go to the "File" menu present at the top left corner 

3. Scroll Down and click on "Page Setup" to open the page settings window 

4. Under apply to select "Whole Document" or "Section" if you have a section 

5. Under "Margins' you can adjust margins at the top, left, right and bottom by entering a number in inches or cm

6. Click on "ok" to change margins in Google Docs
